No, the giant squid lives much deeper, where the water is more dense, and has less of an effect. Thirty feet is a conservative estimate for sea level drop from removal of all cetacean life from the oceans.
In fact, due to global warming, the sea level would be much higher... were it not for the re-introduction of whaling!
